Rifle 2 — Rifle & Pistol Transitions (Advanced Fundamentals)
Description
Rifle 2 — Rifle & Pistol Transitions (Advanced Fundamentals) is a one-day practical course designed for shooters who’ve completed Rifle 1 (or have equivalent fundamentals) and want to learn how to fight with two weapons effectively. You’ll develop sling management and transition mechanics, perform tactical and emergency reloads while moving, clear common malfunctions, and present a pistol from a holster under stress — all while maintaining strict muzzle and trigger discipline. The class blends progressive dry-fire instruction with focused live-fire exercises so students build muscle memory before applying skills under pressure. Expect real-world sequences from barricades, kneeling and moving positions, and time-based decision drills that translate directly to defensive and tactical scenarios.
What you’ll learn
- Safe, repeatable rifle → pistol transition mechanics
- Effective sling use and weapon separation techniques
- Immediate action (stoppage) drills for rifle and pistol
- Tactical and emergency reloads while moving to cover
- Shooting from multiple positions (standing, kneeling, barricade) with both platforms
- Rapid target acquisition and accurate follow-up shots under time constraints
